Description
Torre Colimena was built around 1568 and was originally about 14 metres high and perfectly divided in half by the distinctive sill course. The upper part of the building is still ornamented with curtain walls erected on corbels. The main entrance of the tower, reached by a stone staircase, was once connected to it by a drawbridge. The historical presence of arquebus musketeers gives us an insight into how the tower began to adapt to the use of new weapons.
