Promoting Area Attractiveness through Hiking and Introducing a Different Touristic Approach

This platform sheds light on charming landscapes along thematic routes - including barrier-free paths - in the lands of the Regional Union of Municipalities of Western Greece and of the Alta Murgia National Park and Regional Nature Reserves of the Eastern Coast of Taranto, in Apulia (South Italy).

The platform is the main output of the P.A.T.H. project, funded by the Interreg V‐A Greece‐Italy program 2014-2020, aiming to promote local resources through tourism, making the most of knowledge, competences and resources of a multifaceted partnership (more info at the project website: http://interregpath.eu/) The Regional Nature Reserves of the Eastern Coast of Taranto showcases Hike Paths about Nature theme, with Sights related to Culture, Defence, Nature and Production.
