Description
The Casa del Parco, a 16 century farmhouse, has two floors and originally had a classical tower configuration with accesses defended by machicolations. In the 18 century, the farm and lands belonged to a noblewoman by the name of Marianna Giannuzzi. In her will, Marianna Giannuzzi donated her possessions to the Monte di Pietà di Manduria – now property of the Municipality of Manduria and headquarters of the Riserve Naturali del Litorale Tarantino Orientale (Eastern Tarentine Coast Nature Reserves).
