Description
Masseria Li Castelli is a farmstead located at the foot of the hill by the same name at the foundations of the circuit wall of an ancient Messapic settlement. The farm is an example of self-sufficient rural settlement and a symbol of rural civilisation. Three large stables on the ground floor, two with a barrel vault ceiling and one with a star vault ceiling, suggest that the rearing of livestock, dating back to the 18 century, was the main activity here.
